ƹƵ’s 2020 valedictorian Shanni Prutchi was featured in a statewide meeting about the NJ Pathways to Career Opportunities in Technology. Because of the success of students like Shanni and the college’s Cybersecurity program, the college is a Center for Academic Excellence in Cyber Defense and a Center of Workforce Innovation for Cybersecurity.

RCBC alum goes the extra mile in supporting local veterans

Readjusting to daily life after returning as a veteran is no small feat. From the housing crisis to food insecurity, returning veterans often face the strife of a staggering adjustment period back home. For veterans like Mike Hamlin, an RCBC alum, there is nothing more important than doing everything possible to ensure fellow vets are supported when they finally come home. 

New RCBC SCEO is taking the reins at the campus cafe

Since childhood, RCBC student Eric Breazeale has been interested in exploring the world of business and making a difference for those around him. From the yard sales of youth, to a startup non-profit, Breazeale has always had the zeal to “Make Life Better.” 

Additionally, despite the challenges of creating a non-profit organization, the new Saxbys SCEO became certified to one day circle back to his goal of creating a space for funding the education of students in STEM.

Has creativity ever struck in hard times?

For Computer Science major Josh Seagraves, taking a step in a creative direction over the course of the pandemic led to the completion of his debut novel, Carol, Contemporary Dread.  The anthological-style narrative centers around the perils of making mistakes and going through major changes as a young person, facing issues such as isolation, anxiety and grief.
