How to be a Successful College Scholar:

• Check your RCBC college-issued email daily.
• Renew FAFSA annually.
• Ensure financial and state aid requirements are complete by established deadlines.
• Meet with your assigned EOF Advisor at least once a month.
• Stay organized, read your syllabus and check Blackboard to remain on top of your assignments.
• Check in! Remember, EOF staff are here to support you, so stop by our office to say hello or ask questions.

New Tiered Funding

In an effort to encourage more student engagement, equity, and ensure that all eligible EOF scholars receive funding, EOF has implemented a new tiered funding structure.

Town Halls

EOF scholars are required to attend town hall meetings each semester. The town hall meetings are an opportunity for EOF staff to share information with EOF scholars and provide an opportunity for bonding. Town hall meetings are usually held at least twice each semester.

Workshops

EOF scholars are required to complete (2) mandatory workshops each semester. Each semester, the EOF department will inform scholars of the offered workshop options. Scholars should also check their college-issued email for workshop opportunities offered internally and externally to RCBC to fullfill the workshop requirement. Once you complete a workshop for the semester, please complete the  for credit and attendance.
