Balancing act of caregiving, work, and studies culminates in President’s Award for RCBC student Jared Alexander

ƹƵ student Jared Alexander is used to being relied on. After his father, Dr. Jonathan Alexander, the late professor of English literature and Holocaust studies at RCBC, became paralyzed, he took on the job of caretaker for his grandmother. As he juggled cooking her meals and cleaning her apartment, he took her to doctor’s appointments and made runs to the grocery store to stock up her fridge.

RCBC professor shares experience of working Philadelphia kidnapping case in new true crime docuseries

ƹƵ criminal justice students and fans of the true crime genre will notice a familiar face when they tune into a new television documentary produced out of the United Kingdom. “Back From The Dead: Who Kidnapped Me?” chronicles the complex kidnapping of Delimar Vera and features an interview with Dr. Amber Ciccanti, assistant professor of Criminal Justice.
