New Student Experience/Welcome Center Manager Mimi Oliveira is a recognizable presence at »Æ¹ÏÊÓƵ. She’s often staked out at the front desk of the Student Success Center or in her nearby office — fitting for a role that centers on guiding students to resources such as registration, advising, and financial aid, and on training RCBC’s student ambassadors to do the same.

RCBC to host NASA astrophysicist as part of national lecture series

Antara R. Basu-Zych, a research astrophysicist at the National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA) and the University of Maryland, Baltimore County (UMBC), is a part of the 2026 cohort of American Astronomical Society (AAS) astronomers who will speak at schools and community institutions nationwide.​
